Why Would My Pet Need an Ultrasound?

Ultrasounds use sound waves to painlessly look inside the body producing diagnostic images. In certain cases these images can be more helpful than x-rays. This allows us to diagnose and treat our patients as quickly as possible.

The board certified radiologists of East Coast Veterinary Imaging perform ultrasounds and echcardiograms here at the clinic (appointment based). We at Falconbridge also have our own equipment to offer “fast-scan” ultrasounds.
