Dr. Elizabeth Welch

Dr. Elizabeth Welch grew up in Southeast Florida before moving to cold Wisconsin to get her Bachelor’s degree at UW-Madison. After graduating, she spent several years working as a veterinary technician in Texas and in the Chicago suburbs before making her way to Raleigh, NC. Dr. Welch attended NC State University for graduate school and then for veterinary school, where she graduated in May 2022.

Dr. Welch and her family have called Durham home for over a year now and she is so excited to be a part of the Falconbridge Animal Hospital team! She currently has 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 ferrets, and will likely continue to expand her pet crew. In her free time, she loves to go hiking with her hound dog Nash, bake up some sweet treats, and work in her outdoor garden.
