Paws & Claus 2015

Paws & Claus was held Saturday, November 21st. We had a full schedule of pets wanting to see Santa and have their picture taken!

We raised over $1500 to purchase pet food for Meals-On-Wheels of Durham! Thank you for supporting our raffle and Paws and Claus!

We celebrated Halloween for the whole month of October. Pets who came in costume received a gift bag!

Last year Altoid had a hard time deciding which costume to wear.

The drawing for our summer raffle to purchase dog and cat food for Meal-On-Wheels of Durham was held July 15th, 2015.

Three lucky people and their pets won a Keurig K140 Single Cup Brewing System; a Bath with Brush-Out for a dog, including nail trim and ear cleaning; and a Spa Day for a cat including nail trim, brush out, oral exam and nutrition consult.

Bobbi Joe enjoyed resting in a box after the brush out that was included in her spa day.

APS Walk For The Animals 2015

We had a great time at the APS of Durham Walk For The Animals on Saturday, May 16th, 2015. The children enjoyed Alysa’s artistic talents for face painting and Cadi made friends with a lemur from the Duke Lemur Center. Dr. Reeves and her family made the entire walk! The winners from our free raffle were Ashleigh D. for the dog basket, Chris L. for the cat basket, and Linda D. for the heartworm and tick borne disease test.

Paws and Claus 2014

Paws and Claus has been one of our annual fund raisers for a number of years. This is one of the ways we raise money to purchase pet food for Meals-On-Wheels of Durham. Falconbridge Animal Hospital donates the supplies and the team members volunteer their time, so every penny earned is used to purchase pet food! This year both Santa and Mrs. Claus visited Falconbridge Animal Hospital!

Pet Fair 2014

We started off the summer of 2014 with a Pet Fair at our Falconbridge location. The fair included touring the facility, a scavenger hunt, prizes for the kids, and goodies for the humans and pets. Fun was had by all!

Mocha is wondering where the next room is. They all seemed to have treats!

Jayne showed off some of the types of things we see on x-rays.

Topaz showed us how easy it is training a cat to go into her carrier.

Smile for the camera, Gromit! The pets had as much fun as the humans.

Amy talked about our pet dentistry, and even brushed a few teeth!
